Karan Foundation is an NGO that educates and unlocks the potential of children with special needs. We also conduct awareness programs at various places to spread the awareness centered on Children with Special Needs (CSN)
We provide services to
- School dropouts from formal education system
- Left outs from Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA)
- Out of school children both boys and girls
- Children, in particular girls, of marginalized groups.
The team at the foundation is trained to work with these pure souls who have one or more debilitating conditions. Rakhi Verma, the Founder director of the Karan Foundation helps and trains neuro diversed children who have conditions like specific learning disability, dyslexia, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), autism, cerebral palsy, etc.
Their edifice is well equipped with intervention services that are specially designed for children with special needs. Rakhi Verma, herself a parent of a special child, is also a special educator and has been working with children with special needs since 1998
